The CCF (RAF) along with the Air Training Corps (ATC), form the Air Cadet Organisation (ACO), better known as the Air Cadets. The CCF(RAF) based in Heathrow Aviation Engineering UTC offer an exciting and challenging cadet experience, based around flying and aviation and so inspire young people to learn and develop new skills


What We Do

The Air Cadet Organisationís aims are to: Promote and encourage a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force among young people.

Air Cadets at Heathrow Aviation Engineering UTC are embarking on their biggest project to date with the construction of a flight simulator built from an ex-RAF Bulldog T1 trainer, Also in the pipeline the cadets are converting a large storage container into a uniform store room.


The Air Training Corps

Every year nearly 56,000 air cadets and volunteer staff take part in exciting events all over the country. And with over 1,000 squadrons across the UK, you could be one of them.


Combined Cadet Force

There are CCF contingents in over 400 secondary schools all over the UK, offering young people a broad range of challenging, exciting, adventurous and educational activities. Our aim is to enable the development of personal responsibility, leadership and self-discipline. Each CCF is an educational partnership between the school and the Ministry of Defence, and a CCF may include Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army or Royal Air Force sections.
